Imam W Deen Mohammed Talk

By Imam W. Deen Mohammed
Bismillah, hir Rahman Nir Rahim, Alhamdulillah, Wa Salatu Wa Salaam, Allah Rasulillahi Kareem, Sallallahu Alayhi Wa, Salaam Wa Bad, With G-d's name, we begin the praise and the thanks for G-d. We thank him for the gift and blessing of the model human person, Muhammad. On him be prayers and peace, the honorable and noble messenger, servant of G-d. And what follows of that traditional salutation to the prophet, the last prophet, the seal of the prophets mentioned in the Bible, as it is given in the Quran, say he is the one that's mentioned in the Bible. One coming to break all the bonds of slavery and to take off the people the heavy yoke that weighed them down. We ask Allah to give us the good that he promised us, that is, that he promised mankind, if we accept His guidance and follow it and obey it. We ask him to give us the goodness that he promised us, and to give us all of it. Ameen.
The Quran, is a book of revelation, a book of guidance, and it is also a mercy. It is G-d's mercy to his creation, to his human creation. Every chapter of this book opens with attributes of G-d, both carrying the meaning of mercy. Two attributes of G-d, both carrying the meaning of mercy.
Hir Rahman, Nir Rahim. Bismillah, in the name of G-d. Bismillah Hir Rahman, "The beneficent," they translate it. And they translate it, also, "the merciful from the compassionate." Some of them translate it like that.
It has both the meaning of giving abundantly, giving without restrictions on the giving. Giving freely and abundantly. That's Al Rahman. And that is also mercy. The root word is mercy. Rahma, mercy. Rahman and Rahim, Rahim means the continuing of that mercy even after it has been cut off, that it will be returned. The mercy is cut off, but then it returns and continues. The mercy of G-d continues. Every new generation is a new chance for hope and G-d's mercy. That parents may fail G-d, but the children may not fail G-d. Every generation is a new hope. And we know the bodies of our mothers is called Arham the plural for Rahma. It is called Arham and. We are born of their bodies and that's an indication to us that the first mercy is really the gift of life.
The gift of life is the first mercy. G-d created us to have a good life. A good life. Adam, the first human being, or the first parent, in our scriptures. He is a sign of the first life, the gift of the first life. And that first life, according to scripture, was a good life. Adam was able to have a good life until he was deceived by the enemy of mankind. The Satan, Shaitan called in Islam. Shaitan. He was deceived by him and that prevented him from having the good life. It brought trouble. It brought trouble, but look how his generation succeeded. And the Quran does not refute that, or deny. that if we understand it, the Quran is saying the same thing that the Genesis is saying about the great worth of value that G-d put in man, when he created him. Adam, even with Satan interrupting his life and efforts, he was able to have sons behind sons. And his sons were able to get great benefit from G-d's creation.
He made the creation for his human creation. He made the world, the physical world, material reality for his human creation and Adam's descendants made good use of it and they progressed. Genesis of the Bible tells us of his sons, how they were able to become growers of crops and later builders and even iron workers and great, skilled workers in the field, but also in industry. They were great workers in the field, as farmers or those who were developing agriculture, but also, they became great workers in the field, handicrafts, clothing, all those things. So, what is G-d telling us there? G-d is telling us that he made the world to yield its benefit to the human being in his natural state before G-d gives him any revelation. He has created the man with the ability to have this industry where he can develop the environment and get great benefit from it.
However, we should understand that if he deviates and follows the wrong way, the Satan, the way of evil and sin, then he will be cut off from the blessings. And though he has the same thing, it will be a curse on his soul. He will not have peace. He will have great abundance of the material things, but he will be lacking in spiritual blessings. And he will have great, great trouble in his soul. That's what happened. And we know it became so terrible that G-d gave the world a rebirth. And the prophet is Noah. Noah gave the world a rebirth because the world had gone to such extremes that it destroyed itself, if we understand it right, seeing that the flood destroyed it. But the flood was brought on by the wicked. The wicked destroyed themselves, brought destruction upon themselves. Yes.
Noah is a Prophet also in our religion. In the Quran, he's the same prophet. In fact, all of our prophets are the same prophets that are given in the Bible, just having different names. And G-d says, even Muhammad is in the Bible, as I told you, when I opened this Khutbah, this part of the Khutbah. Yes. So, all of our prophets are in the Bible and we are not to limit their number to the number of prophets that we have by name in the Bible or in the Quran for G-d says that there are others not given in the scripture. So, there were prophets not even recorded in the scriptures. G-d says that there have never been a people, a community, that was without a messenger or a warner. He sent warners to all communities of man and there's too many for them to be listed in the book.
The book of their names probably would just be too heavy for us to carry. We'd probably have to put it on a ship and ship it across the ocean to another land. Yes. So, this is a religion of mercy and compassion. And it tells man that you were created to have this, but you lost it because you were also created to do your own choosing. To have your own mind, to make your own choices. And sometimes you can be deceived by that that is wiser than you. And the Satan, the Shaitan, was wiser than Adam in the ways of matter and in the ways of thought. He was wiser than Adam, and he deceived Adam and caused Adam to think that he was going right when he was going wrong. So, the Quran does not call Adam a sinner. It says Adam slipped. Slipped.
And the word slipped is a word that's used also in Arabic language, meaning earthquake. And when a violent earthquake comes, sometimes its so violent that it shifts the rock foundation under the surface of the earth. It causes the rock foundation to shift. And it may shift and the whole community may sink into the earth and be destroyed. This shifting can be just that severe, that it causes a crevice so big that a small town, or community, can fall into the bottom of there, and they have found cities and towns buried beneath the surface of the earth. And they're still finding them. They haven't found them all yet. They're still finding them. So, this is in scripture, also in history now. Yes. So, he slipped. What is the point here? The point is, a natural man is a marvelous creation without revelation, without any communication from G-d, a natural man without religion is a marvelous creation.
I'm saying that to say to you, we don't put the value on ourselves that we should put on ourselves. If we did, we would treat ourselves better. We would care for ourselves better. The wonderful ladies that have invited us here for this occasion, they have a wonderful program and their program recognizes the help that you get from religion to have health, mental health, spiritual wellbeing, and wholeness of health. Not just bodily health, but also health for your mind and your spirit or your soul. And this is Islam. Allah says of the Quran, that "In it is healing." Shifah. "In it is healing for what is in the breast of man." What is in his breast? The troubles from his mind are in his breast. When we get in trouble, mentally, the weight of that trouble falls right upon our nervous system.
And the heart is the symbolic center for the nervous system. We say, "He had a heart attack." The nervous system got so burdened, so heavy and so burdened, so troubled, that it triggered the center, the heart, to just go out. He had a heart attack. Yes. So, it is symbolic of the center for our nervous system, the heart. Matters of serious nature we say "Troubles," or they "Trouble our heart." The loss of a loved one, the loss of your investment. And now you're in trouble. You don't have money. Your family's in trouble because you can't give them what they need. So, these serious matters can cause heart attack. But where is the trouble coming from? It's coming from your head and it's weighing on your heart. The trouble starts right in the head. So, the Satan seduced Adam, tricked him out of his position that G-d had put him in, kicked him out of it and put so much burden on his head that I'm sure his descendants had many heart attacks.
Yes. And G-d's mercy comes again after we lose it. His mercy come comes again. After we have lost it, we have lost the beautiful creation that he gave us. We have gotten out of touch with it. We are not serving it properly, as it should be served. And we lose it. We lose that beautiful creation and then G-d comes and rescue us, if we will just believe that he can help us. If we just believe that he can help you, G-d comes and he rescues us again. And when he rescues us, it's like a rebirth. It's like a rebirth. So, Ar Rahim it really has the ring of the mother's reproduction system. It has the ring of that more than Ar Rahman, really. Ar-Rahim, Arham is the word. Arham is the word for the system of the mother, where we come to life and have form again.
So, this is the beauty of G-d that he wants us to see. He doesn't want us to see him as G-d that's waiting on you to do wrong, to put you in the fire. That's not, G-d. G-d is a G-d that's waiting on you to do right. To put you in heaven. He's not waiting on you to do wrong, to put you in hell. Even of the religion, he says, "I want ease. I do not want hardship for you, but I want that you be purified." So, G-d is telling us the trouble that we have to go through sometimes to get corruption out of our lives is very difficult. It's very difficult to fight corruption, to have the life straight and decent, honest, as G-d wants it. Especially when Satan is confusing it and putting everything in the way of good behavior and making it seem that the easiest way is just to give up good behavior and be a crook.
Satan can put so much trouble in your way, in the way of you doing good, that you will sometimes think that it'll be better if I just go the way of the crooks, it'll be easier. Satan will make it like that. So, G-d says to us, it is not that he wants hardship for us, but that he wants that we be purified. Muhammad mentioned in the Bible, he says that he's one that will purify them and will lead them out of the darkness into the light. That goes along with what I said earlier in the opening, that he's one to break every bond of slavery and take the heavy yoke off of the people that weighed them down. And there are signs and connections for this in Christianity.
I won't give them to you now, but there are signs and connections of this picture of Muhammad as a one coming to take burden off the backs of the people and to break the bonds of slavery. There are signs in Christianity of the same. The world that G-d gives us, created for us, to serve us and to yield its services, its utility, its benefits to us, the same world, if we approach it wrongly or fail to follow the guidance of G-d and going to approach the treasures or the promises of the material world to man, can cause the world to become not a blessing, but a curse. The whole world can change from a blessing to a curse. The whole world can change in your perception from a perception of that which relieve burdens...
Allah made the world to relieve burdens, to make life easier for us. That's why He made the world. When you look at the conveniences that we have from those that have engaged the world with their intellect, with their rational mind, with their scientific thoughts and experiments, they have brought out of the world things that are conveniences for us and these conveniences have changed the history of man in community life from being a history of man toiling and facing tragedy behind tragedy, environmental calamities, one after another, et cetera, wild animals, beast and whatever.
The drudgery of travel, loss of life and family members just to travel from one land to another. All that's gone. And what has changed the history from one of sadness and pain and misery and dread, to one of hope and comforts? It is what man has gotten out of the material world. From his thoughts, his rational mind, his scientific insights and his scientific experiments, experimenting with what his mind guided him to, have brought us to all of these comforts. So, you see the world is really created for man's mercy, not to punish him. It's created for man's mercy. G-d is mercy, and he gives mercy. G-d is mercy and He created mercy. The world itself is a mercy, but if we approach it wrongly it becomes a curse.
And he said he has not created man, except for his mercy. Isn't that a wonderful G-d. He said he created us for his mercy. Then he tells us of Muhammad. He says, Muhammad is a mercy to all the worlds, rahmatan lil Al Amin. He is a mercy for all the worlds. To, or for, all the world, it means both. Li the expression Li, in Arabic, means to and it also means for. He is a mercy Lil Al Amin for all the worlds. For all the worlds. He didn't leave out any. But when you think of the universe of worlds, the stars, the galaxies, the planets, do they need our mercy?
Do they need mercy? They're not crying for mercy. They still go about doing their business, just as the creator created them to do it. They've been doing it for billions and trillions of light years, some of them, and they're still doing it. The moon rises like it always rose. The sun rises like it always did, and sets. And the stars come out at night like they always did. And the sky on a beautiful Texas night in the Prairie lands, it looks just as beautiful as it did to Adam. But down here, the site has gotten ugly. Where we are, the site has gotten ugly. And down here is where we have many worlds. The world of astronomy, the world of mathematics, the world of technology, the world of financing. We have many worlds and Muhammad is a mercy to all the worlds.
I should pause for one hour, that's how long you need to think about what I just said. Praise be to Allah. Allah is greater. Allahu Akbar. Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Al Amin, Praise is for G-d, the Lord, cherish of all the worlds. Yes. So, I repeat, he says in the Quran that in it is healing for what is in the breast of man. Healing for what is in the breast of man. The mind doesn't really get sick. We call it sick. The mind is like a computer. The mind gets this thrown out of order. It's the heart that gets sick.
We got a troubled mind. It's a sick heart. We get sick at our heart. The heart gets sick. And some minds, they can take all that burden that the average heart falls down under, collapses under, and they just keep going. Marquis du Sade, Al Capone, and the rest of those bad guys in history, they never complained that they had a headache doing wrong. That brain didn't have no trouble keeping up with the wrong they were doing or continuing to produce evil and sins and trouble. It had no problem. But if the heart ever become human, he has a heart attack. He had to straighten up or take him out, because the heart can't stand that. That's the nervous system when it's conscious of right and wrong.
G-d said that he created the man with Taqwa. Regardful-ness, respect for those things that should be respected. He created him with that, and he also created him with Fujura. And that is the consciousness of right and wrong. So, there is a consciousness of right and wrong, and right and wrong is taught to us. Or it is learned by experience. And sometimes our lessons, or our experience with what is right and wrong, needs correcting. Many things that we think right may be wrong. And many things that we thought wrong may be right. And one of the things that the innocent in the religion have thought to be right, is wrong. They have thought that this life is just really a temptation and a trial, and that it has no real value in the long run.
It's the afterlife that's the valuable one. And we are to purge our soul of this life, keep its influences or its effect out of us. Don't love this material world. Don't give your heart to it. How can a man not give his heart to this material world? When this material world has given him his manhood. Without the material world, no way he could have his manhood. This material world has given him his manhood, has given him his sense of his own worth as a created thing in the created world. So how can he dismiss it? How can he not love it?
He loves the beauty of nature. He loves the wonders of nature and he loves the benefits of nature. He has to love these. So, to take him into a spiritual orientation and have him reject the world as darkness and evil and trouble, that if you give yourself to it, you lose your soul. And the greatest gift that's the hereafter. The Quran does not change the relationship of the values. Yes, this world in relationship to the afterlife that G-d promises us is of inferior value. But nevertheless, it is the means for earning the latter. This first is the means for earning the latter. And is this anything different from what the Bible says? The Bible says, if you are dead in this one, you'll be dead in the next.
So that's why Adam was not denied his curiosities. Satan appealed to his curiosities and G-d permitted him to pursue his curiosities at the expense of his Taqwa. Knowing that down the road somewhere, he would get his Taqwa back. So, G-d did not want a human being to only have Taqwa and no blessings. He wanted him to have Taqwa and blessings. So, he had to face the Satan, the Shaitan, have a duel with him and lose the first round, but there's coming a second round. Allahu Akbar. And the second time around, he was victorious.
Praise be to Allah. This is loving, it's so lovely. And it is healing for what's in the breast. So, I continue what I was saying. Some of the innocent people in religion, they have made a mistake and believe a right to be wrong. They have a wrong that they believe is right. They think flesh is sin. And man is born sinful. Man is not born sinful. Every child is born innocent, but becomes sinful after they're guided wrong or go wrong in the world. Everyone is born sinless, no matter how much sin your father committed, or your mother, or both of them, committed, the new baby from the mother is sinless. And a sign of that is our return to G-d. When we make Hajj. If we go there with the right approach and having only G-d in our hearts and mind as our hope in our salvation, when we return from that Hajj, we return with renewal of life, it says, and the sins are all wiped away. Like a baby, just born.
You return with a record having no sins on it. Praise be to Allah. Isn't that wonderful? Well, that's the blood of the lamb, isn't it? Over there we have to be peaceful. You can't even slaughter things in the holy premises. No, you can't kill things in that holy premises. So, you become a lamb for G-d, when you make pilgrimage. You won't kill, you trust G-d, all night, sleeping with your head exposed and your feet exposed. And you know there are scorpions in the desert, but you have more faith in G-d than you have fear of scorpions, especially when you are in that mind as a Pilgrim. So, you sleep the night comfortably. You're not waking up wondering if something's coming near you. I slept like a baby. I slept all through the night, woke up with the Dawn, when I was there. Feet exposed and head exposed.
I came from Georgia, from a Georgian woman and a Georgian man, and you don't sleep with your feet and head exposed unless it's terribly hot. And in Chicago, the winter will soon break that habit, but my habit is sleeping with myself covered up. And before I've learned that it's not good to breathe under the cover, I used to pull the cover over my head. What they're saying is that a day is coming when that man of sin is going to be exposed. And if he tries to cover his head, his feet are going to show. The covering is going to be too short. If he tries to cover his feet, his head is going to show. The covering is going to be too short.
And I guess that's a lesson for the pilgrims too. That you have to be clean enough and innocent enough, not to cover your feet and your head and to go to sleep and rest comfortably all night long, knowing that there're scorpions in the desert. Other things may bother you, but there are you, in the control of G-d. You put yourself in G-d's control, in G-d's hands. Isn't that wonderful. A sign of the end of time for the wicked world. And G-d says still addressing the wrong decision that they made, "Who have said to my servants, that this material world is not for them?" G-d asked the question in the Quran, "Who have said to my servants, that this material world is not for them?"
He says, "It is for them and exclusively for them in the end." "It is for them and exclusively for them in the end." And what does he say? He says the gates to the treasures of this world, if you open them for all, the good and bad people alike...
It shouldn't surprise us, when we read this in the scripture, when we see the wicked getting great material wealth, great material power. He says he opened the gates to all, the good and the bad. He opened the gates to all. But my special blessing, I save it only for my servants, my devotees. So, they can't get that. What is his special blessing? Peace, paradise, heaven. No, they won't get it. If the trouble won't come from their hearts, the people in the world will be so dissatisfied with them amassing such great wealth and power and having it all unto themselves, that the masses will come against them. Other nations will come against them. They're not going to be without trouble. No, they're not. So, they tell many stories of the rich man having trouble going to bed. Cause he's thinking that some of his enemies may get his money while he sleeps.
So, if we perceive the world incorrectly, the whole world then becomes a burden on us. And G-d has to guide us right back to the right perception of things so that burden can be taken off of us, as a burden, and it becomes no more burden, but a support and a blessing. The same world, material creation, the earth and what it bears up, what it can produce for mankind in the community life or in society. The same world that is created to relieve burdens becomes the burden itself, if man approach it wrongly and go off from the direction that G-d chose for him. When he created him, man in his first creation is an excellent creation. He says, "Surely we've created man in the best of molds." That means whatever mold there is for any creation, that mold is not better than the mold, that patterns human life.
And the Bible speaks that men, holy men, they become so obsessed with purity and angel life existence, that they become detached from their own reality, from their own true existence. And they admire angels and pray to angels. And some of these angels that they're praying to are their servants. G-d made angels to serve man, not man to worship angels. This is in the Bible as well as in the Quran. So, the Bible says that the special man that he made, he made him a little above the angels. He's special, man. But is that special man possible for all of us? Yes, it is. Because we have in both the Bible and in the Quran saying, I'll give you the Quran first, it says, "Oh Muhammad, I am a mortal flesh and blood person, just like you." That's saying what? We have equality of creation.
My creation is not a superior creation to yours. We have equality of creation, though I am the messenger of G-d and I am in the best mold, but I am you at your best. That's all I am. I'm you at your best. And then Jesus says the same thing. He said to his followers, "I am in the father and the father is in me," then he carried it further. He brought it down to earth. He said, "I am in you and you are in me." Isn't that what he said? To say the same thing that Muhammad makes clear. Muhammad comes to make things clear after they've become foggy, hard to see. Muhammad comes to make it clearer. The same thing that he says very clearly is also being said in the gospel. That the life is common. That Jesus is, as a creation, no more than the creation of Adam.
The genealogy of Jesus in the gospel is traced back to the creation of Adam. He says his genealogy is traced back to Adam and Adam was the creation of G-d. That's what the Bible says. Then the Quran comes to make that clearer. It says that the likeness of Jesus' creation is the creation of Adam and Adam was made from dust Allahu Akbar. How wonderful. I hope I'm reaching you with what I'm trying to reach you with. This is not talk. I don't make talk. I make work. I make business. I make points. Okay. I make conclusions. Okay. All right. I don't just make talk. I don't just make talk. Okay. And the conclusion is the most important for you. What is the conclusion of this point? The conclusion is stop underrating yourself.
It's not black that's holding us down now, unless it's the black of ignorance, the darkness of ignorance, the absence of truth and enlightenment. That's the only black that's holding us down now. It's not the blackness of our skin. It's not holding us down. If there's any blackness holding us down now it's the same blackness that's holding the Appalachian down, some Spanish people down, some poor whites down, some of everybody, Some immigrant Muslims. Whatever's the same thing. Holding all of us down.
We have finally come to the day of wholeness. There are no separate worlds. That's one world. And that world is the same for all of us, wholeness. The world has become complete and whole. Man has discovered all of it and he puts all of it on television so we all can see it. He puts the news in our ears and in our eyes, so we all know it. There're no secrets anymore about the earth, its compartments, its departments, its drilling paces, et cetera. It's all revealed. So, it exposes us to a one world order of physical reality, or material reality. I'm not talking about that thing that they got. That's different. That's greed. That's what that one world order they are talking about is. Greed. Somebody wants it all.
So, we are living in a time when we all are put on the same level. Isn't that something like the flood, again. Noah's flood again. Where the corruption corrupted the waters, and no water fit on the land. No water fit the drink on the land. So, they had to go out to sea and there gather them all, even the animals. And all mated for a new generation of life. Mated for a new generation of life. And then Allah comes with the revelation. And he says, "My throne was on the waters." He said his throne was on the waters. He said, "but my throne is extended over the heavens and earth." It means that you're not supposed to stay there. You're supposed to see his throne extended over the heavens and earth. It means the rule, His Kursi, His throne. Literally means his chair, where the power, the authority sits down. That's where he rests, upon his chair of authority. His Kursi, or His throne, extends over the heavens and earth.
And then he says that the promise to us of a life after death, the promise of a heaven, a better world to come. He says that its expanse is as the heavens and the earth. So here is G-d's throne being connected with the extent of the skies and the earth. And here G-d is also connecting my interest, human interest. With the extent of the skies and earth. G-d's rule is in the life of man. When he's talking to man, he doesn't have to talk to the planets or to the galaxies about his rule, about His Kursi, his throne. That's man's need, he talks to man about that. So, in talking to man about it, now look what he has done. I don't know what happened to this place, but this place is a blessed place today, because Imam Mohammed can't stop talking.
It's a blessed place. Yes. Praise be to Allah. So, when G-d tells me, put the throne in these two connections, G-d is telling me that really you are to see my rule in the life of humans, when I'm talking to you. If you want to talk to animals about his rule, he'd talk to animals. Talk to the lions, talk to the elephants. It's in human language. So, he's talking to us. So, when he's talking to us about his rule, let us not go out there with the astronomer and his powerful telescope, looking for what G-d says, where G-d want us to go. Let us come back to human interests. And he's saying that you'll find a heaven for you in your human interest. You'll find a hell for you in your human interest. You'll find a field for you to explore, to get benefits, to bring back to your life and your family and your community of people. You'll find it in your field of focus for your human interests.
But you need G-d to expand your vision. You need G-d to make your vision whole, complete. You need G-d to make your vision whole and complete. So, he comes and reveals to you, really, aspects of your own human existence that you don't have the brain or the power to discover. He made it. He knows where it is. So, when he sees you running short of material to use, short of energy, short of knowledge, and you need more of that to discover more and more of your own reality. He who made you comes back and reveals to you so you can see bigger in your own world, see your world bigger and bigger and bigger. So, you'll be able to expand more and more and more. Travel more and more and more.
Man, can't travel in the dark, unless he has x-ray vision or something. You have to travel in the light. Common man must be educated, if the uncommon man is to rule. Uncommon man cannot have a good rule, if he's ruling upon the throne that they're uneducated. His seat must be wise. He must educate his seat. His seat must be also educated, if he's to have a comfortable rule. I hope you're following me. This is plain as day. So, the Quran is a healing for what's in the breast and G-d wants to give us peace. He wants to give us a peace that can't be broken.
We can have peace with just a little knowledge. We can have peace with just a little vision or little perception. We can have peace until that someone or something makes us aware of what's outside of that small perception. Once we become aware of what's outside of that small perception, now we have to reconcile our little life with the bigger perception. And that goes on and on and on for generations after generations, until Muhammad comes sometimes to give us a complete vision and a complete perception. So, man, no matter how small you are, if you intend to service cars doing no more than changing oil, in an oil pit for the rest of your life, to live in this world of wholeness and oneness, where everything is brought together, where you can't escape it. You're going to be hearing of what people doing all around the world, on your radio, on television, watching the movie screen, not a video, you can't escape it.
So, every time something comes to your mind to make your mind, see something that you haven't yet been able to deal with and have peace, you're going to have need to expand your vision, to expand your perception. So, accept that the world, the whole of it, what you see with your physical eyes or with a telescope, and what the telescope and your physical eyes cannot reach. Understand that G-d, the creator, made it for the mind of man.
They can't make a rocket to go out there in the universe as fast as my thought can. And what they're discovering out there looks very much like what man imagined before there was a telescope made. Man saw the stars within his sight. And he imagined that it extended out there forever, without end. He imagined that G-d's creation was without an end. This is what the seers said. S E E R S. This is what the seers said in the Bible, in scripture, that they imagined it to be without an end. And no matter how powerful this telescope is, they still can't see the end of this world. They have never seen the end of this world.
They just keep seeing more and more. And where they thought there was nothing, they keep watching it and after a while they see the birth of a new order out there in the black void. This is what they say. This is what they say. So, G-d's world is too big for man's mind to totally digest. It's too big. And it is made to ever expand our mind. It will serve our mind eternally. And the more we recognize the vastness of this creation, the smaller we see ourselves, and G-d says, "Oh man, think not that your creation is a bigger creation than the heavens and the earth." That's being fool hearted, to think that way. That's enough for that.
Now let us come back home. If you want to increase your mental performance, increase your mental awareness. People whose thoughts are cramped. They can't understand simple arithmetic. They can't do a simple reading. They can't be taught how to write it's because their awareness is cramped. Expose them, like the followers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad were exposed, to expanded reality. Extended reality. Little children learning to read and spell were given big, long words in the first grade. They spelled Kalamullah. A lot of letters.
The science was that if you have them, with the courage to tackle the thing that's big, bigger than their knowledge and bigger than their years, eventually it's going to expand their capacity to comprehend. It's going to be expanded. And their muscles, their mental muscles, are going to become stronger. It worked. It worked for the followers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. I'm one of them. I'm one of those children that was given a whole lot when I was a little boy to memorize by heart. Long words to memorize. Big numerations to memorize. 76 trillion given to a child only five years old, 76 trillion years. I am stretching my imagination.
But look at this man now. Look how he can deal with things now and manage them in his mind and with his mind. Manage them so easily. The teacher of my father was only using the strategy and wisdom of revelation. There's much to say on that subject. That's all he was doing. Now, when G-d tells me that everything in the skies and everything in earth, that he made it to serve me, to yield its service to me, Sakaralakum, mafisamawati wa ma fil Ard he made everything in the sky and in the earth to yield its service to you, to man.
So, he's telling me that these things are for you, to serve you. That you define use in them for yourself. That's expanding my mind. That's expanding my vision. That's making my vision expand, my mind's eye expands, to see all creation as my work field. And then he tells us plainly, he says the field that he promises you are the garden that he promised you is of the expanse of the skies and earth. And G-d is not a G-d that gives us like we give each other, or like we give our children. Here John. How old you now, John? Eight, eight years old daddy. Well, here is $8. Next, next year, you'll get nine. G-d says he's the one that gives without counting. He doesn't count what He gives. This is in the Quran. He gives without counting. And I know what scripture said before, everything is measured. That's not the Quran. He put everything in a measure, but they under the idea sometimes, these preachers, thinking they know that everything is measured. No, G-d doesn't measure how much money he gives to his servant.
He just gives him much more than his servant can use. And G-d knows that he doesn't have to come back and give him some more. That's G-d, most generous, most merciful, loving G-d. And we can learn a lot from G-d. Can't we? Yeah. But remember too, G-d says, in giving don't extend your hand so far from you that you make yourself become a burden on society. This is saying of Muhammad the Prophet, really, but G-d inspired him to say these things. And don't hold your hand so close to your own neck, feeding yourself, that you become blameworthy. So, this is the teaching, be charitable, but don't be stupid. I know you like that. I do too. I believe I concluded this from memory, I didn't have to read a note. Looks like it's all covered. It is, I have covered it all. And all that's left is Dua. Rabbana atina fidunya Hasanatan wa fil Akirat Hasanatan wakina athaba nar, Our Lord, give us in this world good, and in the next good, and save us from the fires of hell. Ameen.
Bismillah Hir Rahman, Nir Rahim. We praise G-d. Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Al Amin. The praises for G-d, the Lord keeper of all the worlds, and we witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger Wa ashadu anna Muhammadan Abduhu wa Rasullilah, Salalahu Alayhi Wa Salaam, the prayers and the peace be upon him, and what follows of that salutation. Again, let us look at the context for our reality. The context for our vision. G-d wants us to focus, not on ourselves according to our private interests, or on ourselves as a race or nation. G-d wants us to focus ourselves as a society of human beings that have an inherent pattern of human society life. In each and every one of us when we are born. Now I know that's heavy for you, but somebody has to tread the wine press alone.
If nobody else will do it, somebody has to do it. Those who know must do it. So, G-d wants us to focus ourselves as community, as society. And he says, this society is the society that he has evolved. It is an evolved society. He says Antum Khaira Ummatan ukrijat linnas, you are the best of communities, Ukrijat, evolved for all people. Ukrijat, evolved for all people. So, this is a community that was evolved. It comes from the simple word, literally meaning, to bring out of something that it was in. So, what was it in that he had to be brought out of? It was in the darkness of your own nature and G-d had to bring it out into the light. So, he is only revealing to you the pattern of public life or collective life that he created for you in your nature. He put it in every human being to want what he's revealing to you. He put it in every human being to move with his life toward what he reveals to you. You had already made great progress.
G-d didn't reveal this community life to start it for us. Man had already achieved great community life, but G-d had to finish it for us. Man couldn't finish the requisition that G-d had created in his very flesh. G-d had to finish it for him. So he says he brought it out Ukrijat. He brought it out, Ukrijat, for the benefit of all people. And how does he bring it out? When there's one of us who has the room in his heart for all people, then he's the one that will call on G-d and get G-d's help. And G-d will help him and guide him to the society, or to the world, life, that will suit all people and serve all people. And they all will be happy with it. Until the Muslims lost it, they had a society that was envied by all the nations.
It lasted for many hundreds of years. More than 500 years. It lasted and thrived for many hundreds of years, until it was lost because corruption set in the leadership. Corruption found its way into the leadership and it caused the Islamic world to lose that great place and that great society that was envied by. All the learned of the world, used to go to the Muslim land to see what has been done. What has happened on this earth, a blessing of G-d. They came. Jews, Christians and other people, came to see the Islamic civilization, and was welcome. So, there was a different Islamic mind back then. They were welcome. They didn't have to take Shahadah They were welcome.
They were invited to see the blessing. They were told that Islam is a blessing to all people that the holy house was built for all people. Buniyal Linnas. The holy house itself that we turned to in orientation, for prayer and Hajj, was built for all people. So they had this broadness of mind and this big room in their heart to accommodate all people. And they came to them and they learned, and they went back to their nations and they improved life for their own societies. After they came and saw what the Muslim was doing in Spain. They came from Northern Africa and went to Spain and there set up a great society, great society.
But in the land where they left, you could find church and mosque so close together that you could speak out of the window of the mosque to somebody in the church and they would hear you. Or somebody in the church to speak out of the window of the church and the people in the mosque could hear them. And the church, carry on their service and the mosque carrying on their service, and no problem.
What happened to this Islamic world. These two places of worship still exist. The mosque of Omar and the church are still there in close proximity. What has happened to the Muslim world? Allah wants us to see our life, the human life, in community context. He wants us to see ourselves as a society. Society means associated. All members, all parts are associated, have something to do with the other. We never should be without some interest in the other, no matter what his interest is. He's a mechanic. I'm a minister, I'm a preacher, I'm an Imam. But I'm interested in him because he's a member of my community.
So, if I need something from a mechanic, I want to go to my brother because he is my community. And my brother, he needs an Imam, so he comes to me. And we have other needs, but we got it in the community. So, we are all linked together. All of our interests are associated, tied together, in some kind of way. That's how you have community life. And Allah says you are the best of the communities brought out, evolved for the good of all people. So that means though we have our private situation in America, we have to realize that we belong to the Ummah of Muhammad, the Prophet. And his Ummah is in most of the lands of this world. So, we have to be internationally connected also.
And we have to feel the context of our life extending to all Muslims and that we are all in one social context. We are all members of one Islamic society. And when we work here, maybe right now, we can't reach or help the Palestinians. But when we are planning our life here, the Palestinian interest and need should never be completely outside of our planning.
We should hope to help them with charity, if we ever get able to make a charity, or with wisdom or with a new idea that will make them better situated to deal with their problems where they are. We should have something to offer them. And we should have awareness of them. And we should be building and hoping that what we are building here will one day, in some way, be able to help all good Muslims, no matter where they're on this planet earth. And since Muhammad is also a mercy to all the worlds, and since the Quran and the house was built for all people, after we consider our Muslim brothers and sisters, we also must not forget our suffering in the race or in the family of mankind. And the world will then be comfortable with you. The world will not see you as a threat. The world will not let you create a weapon of mass destruction, if they don't trust you. You are a religious community.
If it's for you and cutting certain people out, your religious community is like a weapon of mass destruction. And those that you say are going to be cut out, you threaten their safety and security, and they're going to be planning how to stop you from expanding. Allah wants us to be situated for the best growth and the best future. So, he says, don't work for your people only, but be like your G-d who made all of you, and he's the G-d that cares all. You too care for all. And let the world know that you are the best community evolved for the good of all mankind. Thank you very much.
Allahu Akbar. In my conclusion, never let yourself be crammed again into small confinements, but let your mind travel. The world that G-d made for that mind of yours and that's the universe, the stars seen and beyond those that's seen, let your imagination go where America and Russia has no spaceship to send there. Let your mind go there. Let your imagination go there. And your expanding imagination, thinking as a man that G-d created to use everything out there, what's here first, but also what's out there. Thinking that way in your mind, traveling and reflecting on the vast limited space with all of its creations in it, thinking on it, the fluid from your body that will go into your wife for another baby will be more powerful, creatively speaking, than your fluid that went into babies before you had that activity in your mind. So, G-d is not only the creator. He is creating all the time.
